Report showing the ‘big numbers’ for the music industries in 2008.  The report shows an increase of 13% in the estimated value of the live music industry, in 2008, which the author speculates could hint at a “‘changing of the guard’; which for many emerging bands leavesbehind a model where you would tour at a loss to sell CDs and towards a situation where ‘live’ related revenues are the main breadwinner.”
