This report details the main findings to emerge from the quantitative research study conducted by Scotinform Ltd on behalf of Generator North East.

The aim of the study was to look at the views of non-attendees of live popular music events in terms of their attitudes to and perceptions of live popular music and barriers to attending live events. Interviews were conducted across the North East of England and Cumbria during April 2001. Contains profiles of interviewees and survey respondents and factors feeding into attendance or non-attendance at live music events
